Profiles of the Club Properties in the PGA Corridor MIRASOL (2 courses) Mirasol is the newest club in Palm Beach Gardens and has been a home run for its developers, Taylor Woodrow. Despite the recent challenging market, Mirasol sales have continued to outpace the general market. Mirasol consisits of 1100 homes on 2300 acres. The current price range is from $400,000 to $4,000,000. PGA NATIONAL (5 courses) PGA National is one of the oldest clubs in the corridor. PGA is also the only non-equity club of the group. It is a private club, but allows guests of the Resort to play subject to green fees. A wide demographic provides for a diverse population and club membership. PGA has distinguished itself in several ways: there is a world class resort and spa on property, it also offers the most reasonably priced club membership in the area, the largest acreage (2350) and most units (5000). Over 800 acres are dedicated to open green spaces, parks, lakes, golf course fairways and natural settings. The current price range is from $100,000 to around $1,000,000. All golf courses, club and resort facilities have been recently renovated. BALLENISLES (3 courses) BallenIsles has been around almost as long as PGA National and consists of 1500 homes built on 2300 acres. Home prices range from around $300,000 to $3,000,000. A new tennis and exercise facility has just been completed. OLD PALM (1 course) Old Palm is one of the newest and most exclusive Palm Beach Gardens clubs. Besides offering fabulous multimillion dollar homes, Old Palm has the most unique and high tech practice facility around. This cozy neighborhood on 650 acres has only 300 homes. Prices start at $1,500,000. OLD MARSH (1 course) Old Marsh is the most "off the beaten path" and secluded clubs in the area. While located near the heart of Palm Beach Gardens, Old Marsh could be the most "exclusive and subtle" of the clubs covered here. Built on 456 acres with 185 homes, it is the smallest of the club properties on this list. However, good things come in small packages. If you're looking for "no" tee times and a lot of privacy this is it. Prices start at $1,500,000. IBIS (3 courses) Ibis is also "off the beaten path" and a little West of the actual PGA corridor. A large demographic makes for a diverse club consisting of singles, married w/wo children, young professionals, semi-retired, retired, seasonal and year round residents. Ibis, surrounded by preserve areas, is the country club in the country (located 7 miles West of I-95). If your looking for a reasonbly priced club with the peace and quite of the country, this is it! Built on 2300 acres with 2300 homes, prices range from $300,000 to $2,000,000. BAY HILL ESTATES (1 course - PGA National Estate Course) You won't find any zero lot lines here. This Ibis neighbor consists of one acre estate homes located around fabulous natural settings, large greens and wide open fairways. Like Ibis and PGA, Bay Hill consists of a fairly wide demographic. Over the past few years this neighborhood has increased its population of growing familys because the large lots, wide open spaces and large homes. The highlights of Bay Hill include fabulous and naturally landscaped views with lots of wildlife including various species of water fowl, owls, woodpeckers, foxes and alligators. Developed on 1100 acres, there are two neighborhoods - the estate section with one acre lots and the still under development area with half acre lots. Most of the estate homes have golf or golf and water views. Prices range from $400,000 to $2,000,000. |
